Puoltoista kuukautta takana Cooltrassa enkä vaihtais harjottelupaikkaa mistään hinnasta. Jos ekana päivänä ois kysytty hlauanko jonnekin muualle olisin sanonut kyllä. Ensimmäinen päivä oli nimittäin tosi raskas kun puuttu paljon tietoa ja kokemusta ja kaikkiin esitettyihin kysymyksiin ei saanut vastausta. Mutta jo viikon jälkeen, kun oppi tavan toimia ja etsiä tietoa oikein, olin kuin kotonani.

Työpaikan kulttuuri on aivan erilainen kun Suomessa. Täällä pomot on pomoja ja harjoittelijat on vaan harjoittelijoita. Oppiminen on omalla vastuulla, jos et etsi tietoa ja vastuuta, ei sitä myöskään anneta. Ite sain vastuun avata liikkeen yksin viikonloppuna ja oon todella ylpee itestäni että sain sen tehdä ja onnistuin. Joo, ei ehkä vaikee homma, mutta täällä sitä ei yleensä anneta harjoittelijoiden vastuulle.

Parasta on Cooltrassa on se, että joka päivä on erilainen ja aina oppii jotain uutta. Jos ei muuta niin uutta sanastoa. Joskus jaan flaijereita kadulla ja myyn skoottereita, toisinaan oon toisella liikkeella vastaamassa puhelimeen, eilen kuljetin skoottereita toiselle firmalle ja oon ollu myös lentokentällä vastaanottamassa asiakkaita. Koskaan ei aamulla tiedä mitä päivä tuo tullessaan.

Vaikka skoottereiden vuokraus kuulostaakin helpolta niin ei tämä työ sitä aina ole. Meillä on vieressä kilpaieva yritys ja joskus asiakkan voittamiseksi käydään koviakin kiistelyjä. Kaikki harjottelijat ei sitä kestä ja muutama onkin jättäny harjoittelun sikseen jo heti alussa. Mutta meikä onkin suomalainen jolla on sisua.

I have been in my internship one and half month. If you had asked me in my first day, would I like to change my internship place, I would have said yes. But already after a week I would have said that I love cooltra, and I definetely not want to change.

The working culture is totally different. Bosses are bosses and interns are interns. That took me a while to learn because in Finland is more equal. Also learning is more on your own responsibility, if you do not look for the knowledge and responsibility, you are not given either. I as an intern got my first opening responsibility after a month and a half and I am proud of myself. I hope that during the 3,5 months that I still have left, I will get more responsibility.

The best in Cooltra is that everyday I learn something new and the days are never the same. Sometimes I stay whole day in the street selling our scooters, sometimes I am upstairs entering contracts to our system, yesterday I had to deliver scooters to other company,next week I am going to our other shop... As I said everyday is a new day.

Of course this is hard work as well. We have a competing company next to us and sometimes you need lots of discussing with them and with clients to win the situation. Some of the interns have already quitted because they could not handle these situations. I mean, it has been their own will. As I said before, I would have changed in my first day. But now, not in any price.
